Jay Hickman

Business Manager

Jay is the business manager at Signature Books. His prior experience includes working as a public accountant specializing in business advisory and attestation services and as a corporate accountant for a Fortuner 100 company’s trading and marketing arm. He holds a master’s degree of business administration from the University of Utah, a bachelor of arts degree in accounting from Westminster University in Salt Lake City, and a bachelor of arts in history from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington.

Jay served an LDS mission in Manchester, England, where many of his ancestors left for America in the nineteenth century from the docks of Liverpool after joining the LDS Church. He is an ancestor of the notorious William “Wild Bill” Hickman and blames his great-great-uncle for his rebellious side.

Jay resides with his wife, Cindy Dahle, and their pound-puppy, Izzabella Wigglesworth, in Salt Lake City. He enjoys working in the garden, walking Izzy around the neighborhood while chatting up his neighbors, reading history, and hosting friends at the Hickman-Dahle residence.
